Internship programme

 

The purposes of the internship programme of European Citizen Action Service are to give the participants the opportunity to gain an understanding of the work and functions of our organisation and to enable ECAS and its Members to benefit from the assistance of persons with relevant knowledge and skills in areas within the scope of activities of ECAS.

 

Participants in the programme will be expected to be able to contribute to the work of ECAS in the fields of assisting the Document Manager and Project Managers, redaction of Newsflash articles, agenda, and call for proposals, physical and online marketing (Funding Guide, membership), promotion on social networks (Twitter, facebook), website maintenance, and translations.

 

Participants are expected to start August 11, 2010 until December 17, 2010.  This is an unpaid internship.  At the end of the internship, the participant will receive a certificate of completion.

 

 

Basic requirements

 

  • Candidate must have a convention de stage
  • An interest in European politics and citizens’ rights
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Basic understanding of web design (HTML)
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Good knowledge of social networking and marketing
