The Federation of Non-Governmental Organisations Centrum Szpitalna was created in Warsaw, Poland, in 2002 as an information and integration centre for non-governmental organisations and other forms of civic activity. Our main aim is to support the development of the Polish civil society. Centrum Szpitalna runs two major programmes: European Programme (NGO tailored information about policy, programmes, initiatives and especially structural funds of the European Union) and NGO Incubator (complex support for newly established NGOs). Furthermore we provide NGOs with back-up facilities and technical equipment (conference room, library, computers with Internet access).

The Federation cooperates with Stowarzyszenie Klon/Jawor (Klon/Jawor Association) - operator of the ngo.pl web portal, Ogólnopolska Federacja Organizacji Pozarządowych (Polish National Federation of NGOs), Fundacja Rozwoju Społeczeństwa Obywatelskiego (Civil Society Development Foundation), Centrum Inicjatyw Obywatelskich (Centre for Civic Initiatives) and also with national and local authorities. Our actions are sponsored by: Polish-American Freedom Foundation, Capital City of Warsaw and Civic Initiatives Fund.
