European Movement International, in collaboration with European Movement Slovenia organised this Congress in Ljubljana, focusing on the role of the Civil Society in the EU candidate and potential candidate countries. In the first part of the conference, representatives of civil society organizations from the Western Balkans and Turkey gathered and worked together to draft a strategic document aimed at improving collaboration between the civil society organizations and local and national leaders. On the third day of the congress the CSO representatives presented their ideas to political leaders and demanded further cooperation between all executive levels and CSOs from the region.
