"European Citizenship in action" will consist of master classes, conferences and panels on EU Citizenship, with a focus on European Funding, Citizens' Initiatives, Participatory Panels and the 2013 EU Year of the citizen.
The event will build on a first dialogue with Viviane Reding, Commissioner for Justice, Fundamental rights and citizenship, held in November 2010, when the Commission published its citizenship report and action plan to eliminate obstacles to free movement in Europe.

Participants will receive free of charge a training package including the ECAS guide to European funding, 12 tips for the would-be Euro-lobbyist and an training pack on the European citizens initiative (ECI). The event is free of charge for the participants but due to limited places available we advise prompt registration.
