Dear Friends and Colleagues,
You are most cordially invited to the ECAS General Assembly and a public debate on the European Civil Society House (ECSH). The Assembly is structured into two parts:
- 13h00-14h00: The first part of the meeting is the internal ECAS business of the General Assembly. We will be discussing the elections for potential ECAS Board of Directors and important amendments to the statues. Only Members can attend.
- 14h00-15h30: The second half of the meeting is an open public debate about the pros and cons of the European Civil Society House project. Philip Weiss of ZN, an Internet strategy company, will be in favour of the virtual house whilst Lone Larsen, a Board Member and Director of the Danish Culture Foundation, will speak for the physical house. Monica Frassoni will chair the debate. Of course we might conclude that we need both, but what is the balance between the two?
